It's hard to believe, but 2017 will be the 40th anniversary of the graduation of the Loara High School Class of '77! Our reunion will be on August 5, 2017, from 7:00 pm to 1:00 am. We'll be back at the Holiday Inn Orange County Airport, in the Grand Ballroom.
We have given the final count to the hotel, so we are not selling tickets anymore. If you are interested in being put on a waitlist, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call Debbie at 714-737-4600
Dinner will be a "Taste of Italy" buffet. We'll have Caprese salad and Caesar salad, spinach ravioli with marinara sauce, Italian seasoned chicken breast, penne pasta with marinara sauce or alfredo sauce, grilled vegetables, and warm garlic bread. Dinner also includes iced tea, gourmet coffee, decaf coffee, and dessert. There is a no-host bar in the ballroom, so you can purchase soft drinks, beer, wine, and cocktails.
We will have music, dancing, photo opportunities, and lots of great conversation. Our DJ is Rich Amato. His brother is our classmate Joey Amato, who we unfortunately lost last summer. There will be a memorial table set up, so that we can remember the all of the classmates who are no longer with us.
Our theme will be "Hot August Nights". The dress code is Summer Casual (but no shorts, please).
"This is going to be epic!"

On Saturday afternoon, we will be meeting in the California Room at the hotel. We invite everyone to join us, anytime from 12 noon to 6:00 pm. This is a great opportunity to meet up in a more intimate setting, and get reaquainted with old friends. We will have drinks available, and there will be a few tables and high tops in the room.
We will be registering everyone and passing out wristbands, so we strongly encourage you to come early. Avoid the lines!
"40 years went by in a blink. Hope we can still recogize each other. I'm in!"
Karen Washburn and Scott Stanton have planned a very fun event for us on Friday, August 4. It will be 5:00-10:00pm, poolside at Holiday Inn Orange County Airport, directions at Holiday Inn Orange County Airport. We'll have gourmet pizza for just $12.00 per person, and there will also be music and poker. If you're interested in dancing afterwards, we'll meet in the lobby at 10:00pm. Please RSVP to Karen Washburn Kelly-Brown at email@example.com, so that they'll know how much pizza to get.
We will meet for breakfast at the cafe in the hotel, The Panini Restaurant, at 9:00 am. Anyone staying in the hotel at our group rate will automatically get two breakfast tickets each morning, and everyone else can purchase breakfast that morning. After breakfast, we'll hang out around the pool.
